BC ski resorts join in later in November and early December.

Alberta ski resort opening dates 2023 

With cooler temperatures in the eastern front of the Canadian Rockies and the foothills, Alberta ski resorts typically open between early November to early December. Here are projected opening dates for the 2023-24 season.

Owing to the warmer Pacific climate, BC ski resorts open a little later than Alberta's do, generally. BC hills tend to start opening in late November or early December, with most open by mid-December.
