The convenience of getting here includes arriving by air at the Canadian Rockies International Airport, 20 kilometres from Kimberley. That puts you on the chairlift within 20 minutes.

Getting There

Kimberley is located in the heart of the East Kootenays, in Southeast British Columbia.

Driving

Drive time from major centres include: 4 hours from Calgary, 7 hours from Edmonton, 11 hours from Vancouver, 2.5 hours from Kalispell, Montana. and 4 hours from Spokane, Washington. Keep your eyes open, there is plenty of wildlife along the way including Elk, Big Horn Sheep, Deer and Moose.

Flights

The nearest airport is located in Cranbrook, a 20-minute drive away. Shuttle service is offered. The Cranbrook airport can be accessed via connector flights from Calgary, Alberta., Edmonton, Alberta., Vancouver, B.C. Flights also arrive from US airports. The Calgary International Airport is a busy hub for international travel. Rental cars are available within the airport complex. Shuttle service to Kimberley from either airport is available.

Greyhound Bus will bring you to Kimberley from Calgary or Vancouver.
