Pass Powderkeg

Opened in 1938, we are located in the beautiful Crowsnest Pass in SW Alberta, about 140 km from Lethbridge and just 230 km from Calgary.  Pass Powderkeg is a community-owned ski area, designed for skiers and riders of all ages and abilities where there’s no need to hunt for parking, battle for space to turn on the slopes or go to the bank to finance a family ski trip.

At Pass Powderkeg, get all the amenities without the crowds or the attitude. Including:

+Full Service Lodge including Dining & Lounge

+Ski and snowboarding lessons (private and group)

+Ski and snowboarding rental packages (Snowshoes too!)

+Terrain Park with progressive features

+Programming & Events throughout the season

+Equipment Tuning Shop

+Unmatched affordability for skiing in the Rockies

Here’s what the locals already know, Pass Powderkeg is a favorite for experienced skiers who want their kids to learn in a safe, friendly environment.  Our mountain is configured around two T-Bars with the connection at mid mountain (where our historic day lodge is located), so parents and children can ski at their own level without getting lost.  There is parking right at the mid-mountain lodge, easy-access lifts, and ski terrain that supports skill progression from beginner to intermediate on to advanced.
