Holiday snow in BC, your December to-ski list

Here at SnowSeekers, we check where the snow is daily. Okay, I admit, we check where it’s snowing hourly, and the snow we have been waiting for is out there to be chased! New snow from Vancouver Island at Mt Cain (pictured above on opening weekend), through the interior to Kicking Horse and Revy, there's snow near you, with more on the way!

We’re looking at 200cm+ packed bases, 100cm+ 7 day snowfalls, and where you should be setting your maps to and making those last-minute holiday plans to chase the pow.

Kicking Horse 153cm in the last 7 days

Kicking horse has been consistently topping our conditions page charts this past week. With 153cm of snow in the last 7 days, Kicking Horse is steep and deep, especially as they draw closer to the 500cm snowfall mark, with a year to date total of 485cm as of Dec 23.

Mt Seymour, 142cm in the last 7 days

Mt Seymour is open for the 2025/26 ski season with new terrain opening up, this snow is going along way to make that happen! Mystery Peak Express started spinning on Monday, December 22, meaning 3 of the 4 main chairs at Seymour are spinning.

Whistler Blackcomb, 122cm in the last 7 days

Not only is there over a meter of new snow in the last 7 days, Whistler Blackcomb is spending Christms Eve Eve with 44cm in the last 24 hours! The snowpack is still being built, and there's more terrain to come, but with 21/37 lifts spinning, and 158/305 trails open, there is lots of terrain open, and more to come soon.

Revelstoke, 102cm in the last 7 days

Get stoked! With a fresh meter of snow at Revy, this mountain town is set up for a snowy holiday season. Not only has there been 102cm of snow in the last 7 days, but there is a 205cm packed base and has received 510cm total snowfall this season!

When the snow is that deep and fluffy, does  cliff drop like this one even hurt?
