Snow alert: winter ahead as AB, BC ski areas report snow

Winter stormed back into Western Canada early this week, as first one resort and then another reported new snow, starting on Monday and carrying through Wednesday morning.

Marmot Basin, Apex, Big White, Kicking Horse, Revelstoke, Sunshine, Red... the list just keeps growing and we're counting down the days!

Who will be first to open? Will it stick?

Given our daily ritual now until ski season is to check the webcams of our favourite ski resorts across Alberta and BC, trust we are here to keep you connected to the start of the season.

Snow at Marmot, new Knob Chair underway

The snow gods are smiling on Marmot Basin as the hill works to build new infrastructure to get us to the goods this season. Have a look at the plans here and get stoked for 2023-24!

Spend some time on Marmot’s conditions page and just let that 360 view sink in…the weather is turning and very soon we’ll be making turns on this Canadian Rockies gem.
