Panorama guests can now ski under the lights 7 days a week
PANORAMA, BC ? Panorama Mountain Village announces that night skiing will be open 7 days a week, on three times the terrain than last year.
?We are really excited about the new night experience at Panorama this winter. Anyone with a valid pass for the day can keep skiing past 4 p.m. and into the night on Showoff with access via the Mile 1 High Speed Quad? stated Jeremy Neill, marketing manager for Panorama.
Rising 1200 ft above the village, the Showoff trail is over a mile long. It?s described as a gentle rolling cruiser, great for all abilities and groomed daily.
The expanded terrain and high speed lift access is expected to create an exciting atmosphere in the village at night. The popularity will stem from families vacationing at the resort and local residents coming up from Invermere after a day of work or school.
Night skiing lift tickets are available at Panorama Guest Services in Ski Tip Lodge and are $19 for adults, $16 for youth/senior and $9 for junior. Anyone that has either a 2010/11 Season Pass or a full day/half day lift pass that is valid for the same day can go night skiing without purchasing an additional lift ticket. Night skiing starts December 10th and runs from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.
