Whitewater Ski Resort

Cradled in BC’s legendary Selkirk Mountains, renowned for epic winters, Whitewater’s dependable dry snowfall totals over 12 meters a season.  That’s close to 40 feet. And there’s more. Factor in the 5,400 ft/ 1,640 m base elevation and the 2,044 ft/ 623 m vertical drop and you have one memorable ski experience. Whether you choose to experience the new Glory Ridge chair or the originals Summit and Silver King, you will not be disappointed!

There is a ski destination in British Columbia where time almost stands still, where there is no cell reception on the chair lifts, where people look you in the eye and say hello. Learn more here.

For those looking for a different style of skiing, Whitewater also offers 13 km of Nordic Trails.

Approximately 19 km (20 minute drive) from Nelson.
