With only one day left to go,

O Canada put on some show.

Long track to Snowboard, 4-man Bob,

And didn’t Kevin do some job!

Of course the athletes one and all,

Hereby receive a curtain call,

None of those humans gained a win,

By giving up or giving in.

The day a VERY special day,

O Canada was awesome, eh!

Ladies and Gentlemen, let us stand,

And pay a tribute to this land!

From coaches, athletes, fans and friends,

As our Host Olympics ends,

THANK YOU to every single son,

And daughter for the Honours won!

The Great White North BELIEVES in you,

And all the love of sports you do.

Oh! We’re NOT DONE, thanks all the same,

There’s still that … Golden HOCKEY GAME!
