PANORAMA, BC — Panorama Mountain Village offers a plethora of accommodations to suit every skiing and snowboarding group – from hotel rooms to large, well-appointed condo-style suites.
My personal favourite is the Ski Tip Lodge. I like it because It sits in the heart of the upper village and I like being close to the action. The lodge houses the Great Hall, the Mile High Pizza Company, the Can-Ski retail shop, guest services, and the School of Skiing and Snowboarding. And it's only steps away from the Mile One quad.
If you manage to get a suite that's facing the mountain runs, the Ski Tip's private balconies are the perfect spot to watch the action both on the hill and on Panorama's great big deck. Because this side is facing the mountain, you can be guaranteed of full sunshine throughout the day.
The upper village offers a number of great options, but if you are looking for something that is a little further away and a little quieter, head to the lower village. Toby Creek and Horsethief are large units with plenty of room for pals and kids - who will love riding the mini-gondola up to the ski lifts.
Panorama's general store, RK Heliski and the Adventure Centre are all within walking distance.
Whatever your needs, be it a hotel room in the Pine Inn, a private room in the new First Tracks Hostel or your own townhome in The Lookout, Panorama Mountain Village Resort has a room for you.
