KIMBERLEY, BC – Tucked away on the ridge overlooking the t-bar and beginner hill at Kimberley Alpine Resort, Northstar Mountain Village simply offers some of the best value you can find during a stay in Kimberley. The fantastic location is usually what attracts visitors, but within minutes they realize that there's a whole lot more to Northstar than that.
"The units range from 1100-1800 square feet, so the first thing that strikes people is how spacious they are," said Bob Dyrda, Resort General Manager of Northstar Mountain Village. "The other is creature comforts. From your own hot tub on your deck to a gas fireplace, gas BBQ, and deluxe kitchen with all the modern amenities, guests feel very comfortable in their surroundings."
With a heated outdoor pool (84F/29C) in summer and winter, family-friendly on-site spa services, an exercise room, and wireless internet. Northstar really stand outs.
Located just above the beginner hill at Kimberley Alpine Resort, the slopes are literally steps away. Their winter shuttle service (for a small fee) enables easy access to the Resort or downtown for dining and a night out. But for those who enjoy the comforts of home, self-catering is available for every unit.
"Our Alpine Club (located within the complex) has an Express Market for snacks and necessities," so fueling up is never an issue. "Families enjoy being able to ski for the morning, kick off their gear, and have a nice relaxing lunch. With rarely any lift lines at Kimberley Alpine Resort they are still able to maximize a full day of skiing. You get the best of both worlds."
Northstar is a Family Friendly Resort is one of Northstar's best promotions. Their week long rates are very good value, making the drive well worth it. Weekly rates start at $199/night for a 2 bedroom (with quad occupancy that is less than $50/night for a premier resort slope side), or $219/night for a 3 bedroom. Visit their website for more information.
Regardless of features or promotions or locations, what really matters is customer satisfaction. That's something Dyrda and his team are very proud of.
"Head to Trip Advisor and hear what past guests have to say. And it is true, we do attract more families and couples who value the creature comforts, space, and quieter nature of the resort. We continue to strive to improve guest experience."
