How up-to-date is the information on each resort?

The best part of our content management system is that it can be constantly updated. There's no need to worry about missing out on activities or events, because they can be added to the guide when announced. When you buy a go-guide, you have all the latest and greatest information on all 19 destination throughout the season as that information becomes available.

What kinds of off-hill activities are featured in the guides?

The off-hill section of each guide provides information on local adventure options (i.e. snowmobiling, snowshoeing, heli-skiing, adventure touring, etc.), as well as museums and art galleries, fitness opportunities, festival information, event calendars, and more.

Some destination in the app have a bunch of coupons, and some don't have any. Will these locations ever get coupons?

Our coupon book will become more and more robust as the season moves along. Keep checking back to see what new coupons have been added to the guide every week or so.

What information is included in the "Mountain" section of each guide?

The "Mountain" section of each guide includes:

– mountain overview/stats

– a digital trail map

– on-hill attractions

– and we'll soon be adding lesson/ski school info

Are there links to each accommodation/restaurant/store?

Absolutely! Where applicable, each accommodation and amenity includes buttons that link directly to its phone number, website, and google maps location.

What's this "Coupons" section all about?

The "Coupons" section is present for all 19 destinations in the guide and gets you deals and free stuff from hotels, ski shops, restaurants, and more. Just show the coupon on your phone to the vendor/server and you're good to go!

I don't have a smartphone. Can I still take advantage of the coupons?

We definitely didn't want to leave non-smartphone users out. On SnowSeekers.ca, we actually have a Coupons page right off our home page that lists all available coupons. Simply click on one of these coupons, print it out, and you're off to the races.

Will your go-guide work on my BlackBerry? What about Android?

The app is available for the iPhone, iTouch, all BlackBerry platforms, and the Android.

I saw some destination-specific SnowSeekers Go-Guides in the iTunes store? Are these the same thing?

Those apps were last year's version of the Go-Guide. Where last year our Go-Guide was split into 12 separate downloads, you'll have a whopping 19 destinations all in one FREE app.
