Our goals and motivation

The options are endless. A mind-boggling number of possibilities exist in the Western region of Canada to enjoy the great outdoors during the winter season, but how many people know?

SnowSeekers Inc. is a media company dedicated to highlighting the vast number of winter destinations in Alberta and British Columbia to prospective visitors from across Canada and throughout the world, through a variety of media platforms including print, web and television.

The inspiration behind our company is to fill a void left by most ski-related destination guides and travel magazines that routinely showcase only the most internationally recognized Canadian resorts, leaving out many other amazing opportunities available to the ski, snowboard and snow enthusiast. Often these other great destinations are only a short drive away, but many visitors to Western Canada are unaware.

Working together with tourism groups, tour companies, resorts and associations, SnowSeekers Inc. intends on changing all that.

The vast majority of today’s snow-seeking travellers are explorers by nature. If provided with the right information, they will actively search out new destinations, new experiences and new surroundings. Today’s skiers and snowboarders focus less on the number of days skiing, and more on the number of new destinations and adventures to add to their resume.

Being avid snow fans ourselves, we at SnowSeekers Inc. intend on providing as much fresh information as possible on a continual basis, so those who decide to come play in our backyard have everything they need to select the resort(s) that best suit their needs and their own sense of winter fun.

Our goal is to ensure visitors to Western Canada have as much fun as we do. And we are pretty proud of where we live – we want to share it.
