PRO TIP: when to score #SkiNorthBC pow

Northern BC ski resorts Hudson Bay Mountain ResortPowder King and Troll close mid-week through the regular season, and open on Wednesdays (HBMR), Thursdays (PK) and Fridays (Troll), respectively.

So when the storm rolls through during the week, that’s a lot of snow banked (excuse the pun).

Two metres of fun
Surprise, it’s PK. Of course it is! It’s got the rep for a reason. Thursday’s going to be good.

Also, another pro tip from the friendly folks at PK:

Not just a #SkiNorthBC stan account (lol)

Marmot Basin has 10cm fresh in 24h!

And the weather forecasters are teasing the possibility of more, with more demo days scheduled for Family Day weekend…

Kicking Horse has a metre in 7, which will pocket nicely no doubt.

Which is good, because the resort has its big freeskiing comp, Wrangle the Chute (Freestyle World Qualifiers), coming up Feb 14 & 16.
