Spring into adventures during spring break!

Spring into adventures during spring break!

When thinking of spring break you might fill your mind with sandy beaches, pina coladas and sunsets. But that's only one way to reward yourself from the 9-5 grind. Spring break in the crisp mountain air has that special combination of sunny days, soft snow and temperatures that have you wanting to linger on the deck a little longer? The balmy and freshies always add up to fun, relaxation and long apres ski sessions. We'd like to recommend a few of spring break favourites.

Manning Park Resort is a family-friendly year-round destination only 40 minutes south of Hope on Highway 3. Anyone in the Vancouver area can breakaway from the city to enjoy a getaway filled with downhill and Nordic skiing, tobagganing, skating and tubing.

Spectacular scenery awaits at the Lake Louise Ski Resort. Over the past couple of years, there's plenty new at Lake Louise: a sushi restaurant, guided snowshoeing and night-skiing/dinner combos. Find out more here.

Whistler Blackcomb skier Marc Jette recently broke the record in vertical metres skiied by an astonishing 1,857,812 metres over the 2014-2015 season. And, it was for a good cause, Alzheimer?s research. The rest of us can take Jette's cue and urn spring break into a game by tracking your own vertical metres with the new WB+ tracker at Whistler Blackcomb.
