O Canada, oh boy, oh boy, our home and native land,

2010 Olympics, file them oh, so great, so grand.

We are simply Canadians, that is the bottom line,

We care about a chance to share, and medals do just fine.

Vancouver! From the Travelling Torch, to every mother’s son,

And every father’s daughter, roll the country into one.

Cindy, Kevin, every name, sparks Patrioticville,

2010 Olympics! What a victory! What a thrill!

It’s been an education from a world of mountain love,

To every single ‘bring it’, and ‘all-in’. push come to shove.

Chameleon Best Ever from a world of Holy Smokes,

Surrounded by Canadians; sports fans and festive folks!

Fourteen Gold Medals proving that BELIEVE is something true,

As one by one right from day one, believers would come through.

Hockey supremacy sunshine coloured Golden in the end,

Could anyone BELIEVE that sport is not our country’s friend!

Thank you, Vancouver, thank you fans, we thank you one and all,

2010 Olympics! We’re so pleased you came to call!
