Canada … 2 … the U.S … 0

See the three flags fly,

Left to right and centering,

For Canada … look high!

From Hayley Wickenheiser through,

This cool Canadian team,

2010 was built to shine,

Their whole game on high beam!

Four years of preparation and,

Whatever that entails,

For certain the Olympic theme,

BELIEVE!  It never fails!

And out they came! Canadians,

Lined up in red and white,

Thousands of patriotic dreams,

Faced off throughout the night.

Hockeyville group of Champions,

One picture said it all,

They came, they scored, skated away,

While cheering had a ball!

Across our land, across the World,

Canadian fans scream,

While somewhere sleeps a Podium,

That held our winning team!

But in the end and finally,

One hockey fact is clear,

Canada … Gold! Our women win,

CHAMPIONS! One more year!
