Olympics involve the old ‘trickiness’ test,

Each sport has its moments of some cursed, some blessed.

Some chicken, some feathers, some feasting, some squawk,

And always some tricky plays out of the sock!

Think our Lady curlers! Though silver is great,

Still … tricky shots, once-twice, decided their fate.

And Slovaks bedraggled our hockey team tough,

Their tricky maneuvers caused very slick stuff.

Last race for the finish, a couple of days,

Then everyone trickles their own separate ways.

But cheers to the tricky moves, whoever tried,

Cool dip, flip or play hip, whatever side.

It’s all about tricky … and winning is it,

There’s ALWAYS a chance left, if you never quit!

To Kevin and all of our hockey team boys,

The Bandstand is yours … grab your tricks … MAKE SOME NOISE!
