Panorama has 2,847 acres of terrain, ranging from wide open fall-line cruisers to powder-filled tree lines and the steep and deep exhilaration in Taynton Bowl.
The ski area is perfect for many skiers as 75% of the runs are suitable for beginners or intermediates. Think wide open groomers, winding down the fall-line from the summit right to the village base area or to the door of your condo.
For black-diamond runs head to the Taynton Bowl. Previously a Heli-skiing tenure, the area is now within bounds, so the slopes are patrolled, avalanche controlled and no backcountry gear is needed. Warm up first as the 700 acre bowl is all black runs. It’s a great place to find powder stashes days after a dump.
Located in the Purcell Mountain Range of the Kootenay Rockies, Panorama Mountain Village is located 20 minutes up the mountain road from the town of Invermere, British Columbia (BC).
The nearest airport is located in Cranbrook, 1.5 hours drive, via national and international connector flights from Calgary, Alberta (AB), Edmonton, AB, Vancouver, (BC), and direct flights from the US via Delta Airlines.
By road – a 1.5 hour drive from Golden, BC, 2 hours from Banff, AB, 2.5 hours from Fernie, BC, 3 hours from Calgary, AB, and 6 hours from Edmonoton, AB.
