Two NEW lifts have been installed this summer for more excitement than ever at Marmot Basin in Jasper, Alberta. The new Paradise High Speed Quad Detachable services the upper area of the mountain, stretching 4,757 ft.; this chair has a ride time of only 4.6 minutes and has a vertical rise of 1,345 ft.
The School House Triple Chair replaces the School House T-Bar in the lower area, which is an excellent improvement for those learning to ski and snowboard for the first time. These 2 NEW lifts compliment Marmot BAsin's recent installation of the Canadian Rockies Express in 2009-10, the longest high speed quad in the Canadian Rockies.
The NEW store is located at 611 Patricia St. in downtown Jasper. Purchase your lift tickets here and go directly from your car to the lift. Rental and lesson reservations can be made and will be ready and waiting at the VIP reservations desk at the mountain. Reserved equipment never has to go in your car! It can be stored overnight at the mountain to make your experience even more enjoyable. Get your gift certificates, gear, and souvenirs here as well!
Marmot Basin is currently in the process of launching an online store with the help of RTP, where you can purchase your season pass, make rental and lesson reservations, and buy some cool souvenirs.
In the past eight years Marmot Basin has spent over $25 million in capital improvements and/or large operational improvements.
