BANFF, AB — Mt. Norquay, Banff's closest resort, is more then just skiing and snowboarding: spectacular views, sight seeing tours, snowshoeing, state of the art grooming, Southern Alberta's only snow tubing park and the only night skiing in the Bow Valley.

This season Norquay is dedicated to family fun. They have added new activities, programs, beginner centre, sightseeing tours and the re-opening of the Tea House, plus a new Pisten Bully 400 grooming machine to ensure our continued commitment to excellent grooming.

Mt. Norquay is excited to announce the re-opening of the tea house a-top Norquay, with sight-seeing tours on our famous North American Chair offering breath taking views overlooking the town of Banff. Opening day is scheduled for Friday, Dec 16th, 2011. A new mid un-load station has been added to Spirit Chair along with the expansion of beginner terrain. Offering beginners twice as many runs to learn and practice on. Night Skiing and tubing will now be offered on Friday and Saturday evenings starting Jan 13th, 2012.
